Alex Sanders #724
Grew up offroading, first buggy ride at 2 weeks on a VW buggy with a tp pipe and came back asleep, at 6 I could drive a rail, 12 I could climb anything the adults could climb, later I started truck pulling my dad's 2wd modified, then started drag racing our 62 Chevy 2. When I was 18 I rolled my rail and totaled it so I built a new frame for it in 2 weeks with a hydraulic jack bender I borrowed from my dad's friend. 2011 I took my first 4x4 buggy to four-wheeler magazines top truck challenge and won it with my buggy that only cost me $2200 to build. 2015 I built a rockbouncer I named ribcage (for the way the tubing looked and how it would protect what is inside) and I started racing it. I have been fighting the steering since I built it but this year I will not be racing until I have the steering right. As of now it's almost ready. So these days I am married and between my wife and I we have 5 kids. 10, 9,9, 8, 4. The oldest doesn't live with us but with the other 4 it does make it harder to afford to go race but every race I scrounge up enough for fuel and entry fee. Let's hope 2018 is the year I start winning more. Accomplishments would be I have been on travel channel for the show mud people, outdoor channel and several others for top truck challenge, I have been four-wheeler magazine, the cover of Amsoil news letter, in an msd add in dirt sports, and in various Offroad magazines for whoops moments. I was also casted for a reality show at bricks Offroad park but the show fell through before the filming stage
